Since 1973 — our story

Established in the heart of Viareggio since 1973, Capitanbrokers represents a historic landmark of excellence in the maritime brokerage sector and in the sale and purchase of pleasure vessels and yachts.

Its founder, Matilde Macellari, transformed a deep and authentic passion for the sea and yachting into a solid business reality from the early 1970s. In 1986, Matilde became the first Ferretti Yachts agent for the sale of new boats. Over the years, this precious heritage of values and expertise has been proudly passed down from generation to generation: first to her daughter Daniela Mazzeo and, subsequently, to her grandson Davide Tonarelli. Today, Daniela and Davide lead a synergistic and highly qualified team, capable of combining tradition and historic experience with the most modern dynamics of the global market.
